Washington, DC – From June 1 – September 30, Sonnig Records, the Come to Washington: A Song for the City host committee, and four
charming venues bring you the Come

Love Café will kick off

On March 24, 2006, Sonnig Records hosted the launch event for Come to Washington: A Song for the City, a campaign to name Lincoln Ross’ Come to Washington as DC's unofficial song. During the event, artist J. Anthony (www.jamesdesigns.net) installed a canvas onsite for guests to sign, draw, and doodle on. He painted the campaign title in an elegant, gold script and added a street sign of a Southeast intersection that has Washington’s most breathtaking view. March 24th guests filled the canvas with color, sayings, and objects.
After the campaign launch event, Washington notables
added their mark to the Come
to Washington: A Song for the City painting.

Kamal Dandona, Chairman of the Bollywood Group of Companies, and Mr.

For years Indian movies have been the most significant cultural link for

moral themes and of course, the songs, of family ties, religion and
friendship have brought cinema-going fans a sense of where they came from
and belonging to a tried and tested tradition.
Financial (parent company of Radio 90.5) has always believed in being
globally competitive and in being involved in several industries and so in
1997, they decided to open an “all-Indian” radio station – Radio
90.5 FM - adding to their communications network. The popularity of the
station quickly grew – not just because of the selection of songs that
can be heard (including old and new hits alike), but also because of their
programming which serves to educate and enhance the lives of their
audience as they have chosen to be more community and family oriented, and
have even taken it a step further to bring a piece of home to listeners
abroad as 90.5FM can be heard live on the net 24 hours a day at www.radio90fm.com.
