Greetings!!!!

This weekend is very special for all the fathers, so we would like to wish all the Fathers who are among our on-line family a Happy Fathers Day!  We hope you have an enjoyable time with you loved ones on this special day!!!

We want to start of by reminding you that tomorrow (June 17^th) is the final deadline to submit your applications for the Trinidad and Tobago Working Women’s Committee of Wash. DC Scholarship.  Please Click Here to obtain the application and get all the details!

Of course, all that’s on our mind in this area is the upcoming DC Caribbean Carnival.  We are counting down the days left before this exciting event takes place, and it’s now 10 days.  So much is scheduled to take place in these next few days before this big event.  Below we have highlighted some of the events you must support!

  Join us - ARIOUS ENTERTAINMENT & ICE ENTERTAINMENT This Thursday, June 16, 2005 and every Thursday until Carnival as we continue to showcase our section “Sweet Heart” for DC CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL 2005, with Jackie and Associates “All things are Beautiful at Club U-Turn, located at the corner of 11^th and U Street, N.W., Washington, DC.  Come check us out and register to participate in DC Carnival with us in our "Sweetheart" mas section.

The festivities kicks off this weekend with Pan Masters Steel Orchestra Calypso Monarch Final Competition taking place on Friday, June 17^th at the AKA Sorority at 4411 14^th Street, N.W. Washington DC.  The competition will be more interesting this year since a number of females will be competing.  Showtime is 9:00 pm and tickets are sold in advance only!

The fun continues with the organizing committee: DC Caribbean Carnival, Inc. official annual events.  Their Pan Jam on Saturday, June 18^th, and their Dimanche Gras Show (judging of the costumes) on Sunday, June 19^th.
